Food is Terrible and Cancellation Policy is a scam
I ordered the first month Nutrisystem program. It came via fedex in about a week.
The food is awful and I'm not a picky eater. Couldn't stomach the lunches and dinners. They are foul.
Read the fine print - you will have to look hard for it. If you cancel during the first month you have the option of taking the second month's food (another $275 or so), or pay a $100 charge which they say is the discount for the first month. You cannot cancel on line either you have to speak to a representative who will do their very best at talking you into some other plan/ frozen foods/ or delay your next shipment.
Also notice that on their website you cannot write a review.
You can get the same food in your local grocery store for half the price.
Try a calorie counting system like "my fitness pal" available for your smart phone and for free.
Don't do it. Save your money. Try something else.

Nutrisystems 2016's largest scam
I tried this diet last month and instantly got sick. Every item on the menu is full of added fiber. Metamucil type fiber added at all meals and snacks is now they "fight belly bloat" They make you do a cleanse without telling you to be ready. Ready for the horrible gas and constipation that occurs when you take 10 times the daily dose of these fiber additives. Even the ice cream has fiber blast.
I then experienced the joke that is what they call customer service. They refuse to do any money back on the order. I was 2 days out of the 14 they say. Then they charge a 100. fee that is never discussed in the ads. Then they make you send any unused food back to them for refund. EWWWWWWWWW.
They resell the food. EWWWWWWWWWWW.
They charge you for all frozen food period no refund is allowed. They keep 100, plus a 20 buck return shipping. Then they resell what you return. Check the internet. Cheap food is available. So the money back is at best a 1/2 back right from the minute it arrives. Complete lies to customers. Full money back is NEVER available to any customer ever under this plan.
They never not for a minute ever intend to make a complete refund to anyone ever. That is a completely dishonest game they play. Why would you trust your body and health to a company that acts like this.
Question: How does meatloaf, mashed pot and gravy come in a box that stores in your dry food area? Can you even imagine what is in that "meatloaf" to be dry stored on a shelf.
Run don't walk from this company. I thought I was just 50 and too old for the food, until I called for help. That's when I became convinced that this is a monster scam, in my opinion. None of the operators will identify themselves so you can't complain about them. They have NO supervisors available to talk to. They read a script because they know we all want our money back like they advertised and promised. Not word games and sales tactics to keep you in past the 14 days. In my opinion this is a very sophisticated *** on a national scale. Perfect, if you complain enough then there actually is a supervisor named Pam. She just parroted the *** artist script.
#Marieosmond should be embarrassed she is offiliated with this *** artist company. The only way to stop this type of thing is to make sure everyone knows what they are doing. Tell friends, blog let the world know they lie and point to small print. Just because you can defend it in court does not mean people will let you get away with this. I am going to look up Marie's tritter acct and send her a note of thanks for her lies and indiferance to the truth. She can't possibly be unaware of what this *** is really doing.

Resolved: Moldy cinnamon buns!!!
I purchased Nutrisystem cinnamon buns at Walmart in Hackettstown, NJ in the past week. The expiration date is May 5, 2016.
I ate one in the morning of 1/17/16 and during the day and the next morning (now) have been experiencing intermittent sharp pains in my intestines/stomach and feel somewhat nauseous. I also developed an eye infection in one yesterday requiring antibiotics.
This morning I opened a second package from the same box. From the top the cinnamon bun looked fine, but when I went to remove the drying package under it, noticed in the dim light of my kitchen what I first thought was ink all over the cardboard. I removed the package and then looked at the cake portion of the bun and noticed it was completely covered in mold.

Largest Scam in the Diet World
I am an 80 year old man who found it challenging to sign up for Nutrisystem online and apparently checked the wrong box when given the choice of Automatic Shipping or Month-by-Month. I checked Automatic Shipping because I thought it meant the company would automatically ship this one-month order; instead it apparently meant I had signed up for continuous shipping.
I called Nutrisystem and cancelled and was informed it would cost me $90 to cancel---why?
I called my credit card company immediately, and Nutrisystem was on the line to them charging me $90. I know what it feels like to be an abused system; shame on you Marie Osman!

Nutrisystem Is A Ripoff
Food was extremely substandard, Customer service lied to me when called to complain and return food, CS said if not lose 10 lbs and 5 inches in 30 days, I'd get my money back. Lost 8 lbs but kept intake to 1200 calories a day, walked 3 miles a day, and needed to lose 40 lbs.
Just lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks on the old Stilman diet at fourth the price.
They did not make clear I had to re-order; but, cancelled my credit card and stopped it after reading this site and learned of the problem. Boy-will I check online closer next time - TV ads caught me off guard.
