I called Nutrisystem to cancel my next shipment and they are still charging my card $125 cancellation fee. They claim it is part of the terms and conditions, their publicity say cancel anytime.
No business should be allowed to obligate a customer to purchase a second round of products for which they were not satisfied with.
Nutrisystem is 30 days worth of food. Obviously it takes time to determine if the program is right for you.
I called with a logical and reasonable amount to of time to cancel and assess that I am dissatisfied with the product.
They are simply taking advantage of people with fine print and unlawful obligations.
I demand the $125 cancellation fee be refunded. Also I deleted my credit card from the website minutes before calling to cancel the auto-order, therefore if they charge my card that means they are keeping my confidential credit card information on file without my consent.
I still have not received confirmation cancellation email.

I was promised a diet for a whole month. I received the first part of my diet I ate it but my second part of my diet was late but I still had the first part so I kept eating it but the time my second part came I had been without my meals that I paid for ,for about 5 days..
then the shower up thawed and melted so they had to resend me another order Then they were thawed and late. Witch threw me off my spicific diet for me. Witch I paid for.
Anyways I want my full refund . Not half of a refund .my full refund

I called multiple times on their EST time but took took time. First time i called & I have been on the phone for 1 hour waiting.
Then i email customer service that replied with a generic email without addressing your main specific issue.. And the 4th or 5th time I called was Saturday & was a little easier, this time was around 10 minutes.
The customer service verified my info. Was told them To cancel as NS is not working as foods taste are not great. I still have most of 1 month food that were delivered..
then i was told there was another shipment on the way for the 2nd month & Customer service told me that i was informed by email 2 weeks after i ordered the first month worth of food.I looked immediately on my email folders and i did not see any email informing me about it except the email that i ordered the first time.
The customer service started to say that i have to pay the $125 cancellation fee as i was cancelling now and asked my why its not working with me. I told her that not everyone doing NS worked even though you followed the instructions etc..I felt that One is being judged.
This cancellation fees seems deceiving & difficult to cancel orders..
Cancellation should be easy as one is ordering!

Hello, in my case their system sent a one-time shipment to an 8-year-old address and charged me $618. And she didn't convey that she was sending to my correct address two more Frozen and two more dry and I'm was to return one of the dry ones she acted as if I was supposed to return the one dry for my money back.
So now I have 2 months of frozen food that doesn't fit in the most people's freezers and I'm having to deal with that. Plus the return address label now I have to pay $20 to try to recover my $618 completely ridiculous why can't we just make a photocopy of the label and email it to them I should have just been refunded the $618 and she should have just mailed me my regular one Frozen one dried to my correct address their system is backwards and I'm not happy.

What isnt it about. They keep contacting me to signup EVERYDAY in last week and before that a few a week.
I AM a current customer but they charged me for two programs. I contacted them and they cancelled wrong one. I didnt want the basic-I wanted the uniquely yours.sent numerous emails to no available. I paid three months in advance for discount and I only got one shipment and it has been over a month and dont have food (no great loss as it is the basic plan and terrible food.).
Im upset as I already paid 3 months yet I am but getting any food. I contacted them by phone and the lady was extremely nice and knew I was customer in and off for years (never considering to consolidate all emails into one identifying user name. The lady said she understood and was sorry and said she was going to clean up the records and was going to get me the proper program I originally ordered. I felt positive do when she said she would transfer me to the proper dept-I assumed she would relay the info so I didnt have to start all over again.
That didnt happen BUT worst was yet to come. I am pacific time but they were eastern time so when I started to tell her the story again (irritated). It was quitting time for them so next thing I know - it was conveniently put in a recording about giving survey. I hung up then and called right back but recording said they were closed.
STILL waiting for the *** food I paid for but hoping I would get the program I originally want. Never happened -got nothing. It is supposed to be money back guarantee and told them to pick up this 1st month of program BUT I am responsible for returning it. All of what I experienced was wrong on so many levels.
Another gripe is when you do call you get this message that there is a back log due to increased orders so be patient. Well why not just take care of your existing customer properly and in timely fashion instead of wanting SALES vs SERVICE. It is the same way when you email and they dont answer right away-sends a generic email stating how busy they are and will back when they can. Unreal.
I would just li my r my money back and they can come pick up the food.
I paid three months in advance. Thank you for allowing me to express my dissatisfaction.
