Nutrisystem Misleading and read the fine print before you order
After reading their fine print and a couple of other complaints I phoned their customer service to try to get a refund. Because it was within the 15 day return period Nutrisystem were cordial and agreed to refund my money in full.
I have been told that I'll receive funds back on my card within 5 days. If this happens I'll return to this site and mark this matter as resolved.
I phoned and talked to a customer service person relating that I only needed to lose 15 pounds. Their advertising suggests that within one week you should lose 5.
After 10 days I hadn't lost anything so with the thought that this is another scam and if I didn't cancel before a specified time I'd have to pay another month then suffer their Nutrisystem for another month. Therefore I phoned in and cancelled my order.
In summary the food is OK and their customer service is good however their cancellation policy should be considered a "Soprano's" scheme to steal money from the vulnerable.
It costs another $99.00 to cancel.
Buyer be ware!!

You would be much better off, both monetary and taste-wise by just buying frozen meals like Lean Cuisine and eat two of them as meals plus one regular meal per day. Keep your caloric intake to less than 1000 calories and do some exercise each day---walking is the easiest and best but walk at least a mile a day.
I know someone who lost 67 pounds by watching calories, eating Lean Cuisine or similar and walking every day. It works just fine and you don't get scammed by companies like NutriSystem.
Good luck. Losing 15 pounds would be a cinch.
